With a low budget in mind and having to change this apartment without any intervention that would demand leaving the apartment, this project was a challenge regarding how storage and flow could be optimized.

The space was occupied by Catarina and her cat, Mimi and was initially built as an apart-hotel, not suited for permanent living, with off-scale heating units that took too much space and were never used.

The approach was to balance the volumetrics of furniture pieces and reconsider storage organization inside cabinets, with small changes that increased the quality of living and ease of maintenance.
